These are the steps we perform when refinishing your pool
Drain pool and control the ground water under the pool shell so existing shell does not move.
Sound out existing finish to find any hollows or cancer spots and remove loose material to ensure maximum adhesion of your new plaster finish. Patch with new material
Under-cut waterline tile, returns, lights, and main drains to allow for full thickness of new plaster with out creating build up or odd edges. Chemically clean sub surface of your pool. (old plaster tsp rinse – acid wash, rinse)
Apply “Multi-Coat” bonding agent to the subsurface for adhesion of the new finish.
Re-plaster pool with Premix-Marbletite products, in your choice of colors. (many custom finishes available)
Refill water through 2-stage pleated filter/ KDF Charcoal media to ensure contaminate and algae free fill
